Liverpool is where I grew up. The Pier Head and the surrounding docks are key experiences and memories from my childhood and beyond. The docks have changed a lot now, many of them filled in, which maybe isn't a great thing, but they have been replaced by facilities such as new museums that everyone can enjoy. I still try to visit Liverpool whenever I can, to stay in touch with its growth.
